The Employment Services program provides intensive services to individuals seeking employment. Financial services available from the agency are presented as temporary assistance while the individual participates in activities that will enhance job skills and marketability in the local labor market. An individual assessment process utilizing various academic and vocational testing instruments aids the development of a realistic employment plan.

Food Stamp Employment and Training (FSET)
Program designed for the recipients of Food Stamps only.
The programs differ significantly in the level of services available.
The Educational Opportunity Center offers free career and education planning to any individual over age 18. The first step is assessment and diagnostic testing in a workshop setting. Workshops are available on a weekly basis and do not require an appointment. Other services available include financial aid information and assistance in completeing the forms, and referral to job training and GED programs.
