WHAT WE NEED: We need person to person volunteers from Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk area and Virginia Beach!
QUALIFICATIONS: If you are warm, empathetic, a good listener, dependable and interested in helping cancer patients and their families of all ages and stages, please join us!
REQUIREMENTS: One-on-one volunteers and office personnel are required to take the accredited Lee's Friends Training Course. Regular and substitute drivers must have excellent driving records. PRIMARY MISSION: To offer person to person help and needed emotional and practical support to cancer patients and their families from diagnosis to cure or death and bereavement.
