Children's Programs
Time forTwos
A program designed especially for two-year-old children accompanied by an adult. Stories, nursery rhymes, songs, poems, and action activities may be included in each program, which lasts approximately 20 minutes. Attendance is limited and preregistration may be required.Preschool Storytime
Designed for audiences of two-, three-, four-, and five-year-old children mature enough to attend independently while parents or other accompanying adults wait nearby in the library. The program, which lasts approximately 25-30 minutes, may include stories, songs, poems, puppets and other action activities. The program might either be unregistered or require advance registration.Family Storytime
A gathering for children of all ages, as well as adults. It may include stories, songs, poems and puppets and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Preregistration may be required.Adventure Club
A program for school-aged children ages 6-12. Activities may include stories, songs, puppets, poems, crafts or films and is approximately 30-45 minutes in length. Preregistration may be required.Film Programs
"Tiny Tot Movies", "Children's Films" and "Family Films" may be scheduled at the discretion of each individual library. These programs are free and open to the public. Parents or care givers are encouraged to attend and should accompany children ages five and under into the film programs or wait nearby in the library during the programs.Return to Children's Service.
