The Beach Health Clinic was founded by a physician, a nurse and a minister to embody the healing power of neighbor helping neighbor. It is a volunteer-dependent organization where, together with a dedicated staff, they strive to carry out the clinic's mission to provide free medical care to uninsured residents of Virginia Beach. Since it opened, the clinic has conducted more than 22,000 visits on-site and arranged for free and low cost medical services at other locations.
