Season 18 is on the horizon and it looks to be one of Generic's best. We've got some of the finest plays, directors and actors in the Hampton Roads area. If you live in or visit the Hampton Roads area we hope you stop by and check out our plays.

We are topping the season with LAUGHTER and closing with Steve Martin's stage venture PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE. I hope you'll join us for the entire season. NEW PLAYS FOR DOG DAYS 1999
If you are interested in submiting your play to our annual NEW PLAYS FOR DOG DAYS FESTIVAL 1999, please send your script to: Generic Theater, PO Box 11071, Norfolk, VA 23517. Include a SASE if you would like the script returned. Our requirements are as follows: 8 characters or less, full lengths and one acts accepted, NEVER before produced (workshop productions or readings are okay), Limited technical requirements. We do not accept children's plays or large musicals. Submission deadline is MARCH 1st with notification by APRIL 15th.
